Sherry is a professional interviewer with a honed talent that encourages others to remember and share stories of their life experiences. She has a genuine curiosity and interest in others and believes in the power of sharing the stories, those we may consider quite small, to teach, heal and connect us with those around us. Sherry founded Storied Gifts in 2007, to help others document their memories so that they can be shared and treasured for the future.
In addition to her work as a personal historian, Sherry is host of the award winning podcast Entrepreneur People Real Stories, co-host with her husband David for the program The Delicious Story, founder of dsmBUZZ which promotes the value of buying locally owned, and co-author a book with her mother Sheryl Van Weelden called "Under the Tea Leaves."

Rachel started work in family history at a young age. One of her favorite school projects was assembling a comprehensive family tree book. Now all grown up and working as a professional designer, Rachel loves learning about the lives of the people profiled by Storied Gifts. Each cover she designs is customized to reflect the individual's unique story and personal style.
