I was privileged to visit with Vera and help chronicle many of her memories of growing up and living life in small town Iowa for her book called Once in a Lifetime. It was a special treat in particular because she is the grandmother of Rachel McClung who provides most of the beautiful design for Storied Gifts books.
For Vera's 90th her family gathered and celebrated her life and gave her the finished memoir. She was thrilled. Congrats to Vera for her accomplishment!
