Storied Gifts

Speaking at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Ankeny, Iowa

Thanks again to the ladies of Holy Trinity who allowed me to speak at their mother/daughter tea on April 25, 2009. It was a lovely event where I spoke on "How to Tell Your Story as Only You Can. The speech went fairly well except that I couldn't figure out how to make my laptop communicate with the projector to show my Power Point slides. (will need to resolve this for next time!)

After the presentation a brunch was served, then the ladies took turns sharing stories of mementos they brought for the gathering at their tables. The highlight of the event was when a few of the women related some of these stories to the entire group. There was laughter and a few "ohs and ahs."
